Great things are happening in Louisiana! The PNP Norma A. Liner Unit of the Marine Corps League Auxiliary in Houma recently recognized Local Store Marketer Jason Blackledge and Texas Roadhouse for their outstanding support of veterans, including a fundraiser that raised over $4,500 to purchase clothing for veterans!

A wonderful example of community partnerships making a difference and our MCLA mission in action! Semper Fidelis!

Today, we pause to remember the 241 American service members who lost their lives in the Beirut Barracks Bombing on October 23, 1983.

On that Sunday morning, 220 Marines, 18 Sailors, and 3 Soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country as part of a peacekeeping mission in Lebanon.

Forty-three years later, their sacrifice has not been forgotten.

The National Marine Corps League Auxiliary honors these brave men, remembers those who survived, and keeps their families and loved ones in our thoughts and prayers.

May we never forget the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the sacrifices made in service to our nation.

They came in peace. They gave their lives. We will never forget.

Semper Fidelis. 🇺🇸

⚓ Happy 251st Birthday, United States Navy!

On October 13, 1775, the Continental Congress established what would become the United States Navy. For 251 years, generations of Sailors have answered the call to serve our nation with courage, honor, and commitment.

Today, the Marine Corps League Auxiliary proudly joins our nation in honoring the men and women of the U.S. Navy — past and present — and the families who have stood beside them.

Thank you for 251 years of service and sacrifice.

Happy Birthday, U.S. Navy! ⚓
