This Christmas, The Douglas Care Foundation is on a mission to bring a little extra JOY, HOPE and LOVE to children who will be spending the holiday season battling pediatric cancer. 💛

We are proud to announce our first Beautiful’s Toy Drive Bringing Beautiful Smiles to Children Battling Cancer!

From October 15 through December 10, 2026, we will be collecting NEW, UNOPENED toys and gifts for children of all ages from babies to teenagers.

Now we BUILD.

Our goal isn’t to have a social media page that talks about childhood cancer once a year.

We want The Douglas Care Foundation to become a meaningful resource for pediatric cancer children and families in our community.

That requires more than awareness.

It requires PEOPLE.

People willing to volunteer.

Businesses willing to partner.

Organizations willing to open doors.

Donors willing to give.

Community members willing to connect us with resources.

And people willing to tell pediatric cancer families:

💛 GOOD MORNING & HAPPY WEDNESDAY 💛

For The Douglas Care Foundation, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month is personal.

Our mission was born from a journey our family never expected to take.

In 2020, Beautiful was only 3 years old when our world changed with her diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). What began with unexplained pain quickly became doctor visits, hospital stays, treatments, chemotherapy, procedures, fear, tears, prayers, and a fight no child should ever have to face.

But Beautiful fought. 🎗️💛

And through her journey, we saw firsthand how childhood cancer affects the entire family. We also learned just how important support, encouragement, resources, and community can be during one of the hardest seasons a family may ever experience.

That journey became part of the reason The Douglas Care Foundation exists today.

We are here to stand beside families who are hearing the words no parent ever wants to hear. We are here to remind them that they are not alone. We are here to keep spreading awareness, offering support, and fighting for every little warrior.

Beautiful’s story is one of strength, faith, resilience, and hope but there are still so many children fighting today.

So this Wednesday, we ask you to GO GOLD with us.

🎗️ Share childhood cancer awareness.
🎗️ Support a family in the fight.
🎗️ Donate when you can.
🎗️ Say their names.
🎗️ Keep talking about childhood cancer even after September ends.

For Beautiful.

September may be coming to an end, but the fight against childhood cancer does not stop when the month is over.

Behind every gold ribbon is a child who has fought, a child who is still fighting, a family holding onto hope, and loved ones praying for another tomorrow. 🎗️

This Tuesday, The Douglas Care Foundation is asking you to help us keep shining a light on childhood cancer. Speak their names. Share their stories. Support their families. Wear gold. Donate. Pray. Advocate. Most importantly, don’t stop paying attention when September ends.

No child should have to fight cancer. No family should have to walk this journey alone.
