Gateway180 needs the following items for our families:

- Personal care products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap, lotion, etc.)
- Towels (Full size and washcloths)
- Home Essentials (paper towels, tissues, toilet paper, Clorox wipes, cleaning spray, etc.)
- Baby wipes

🏠 Let’s come together to address homelessness in St. Louis!

Join the St. Louis City Continuum of Care for a Town Hall on Homelessness tomorrow, October 15, from 5:30–8:00 PM at Soldiers Memorial.

This free, community-focused discussion will bring together local leaders, service providers, and community members to discuss homelessness in our city and how we can work together toward meaningful solutions.

Speakers will include St. Louis Mayor Cara Spencer and Gateway180’s Executive Director, Kathy Connors, who also serves as Chair of the Continuum of Care Board, along with other community leaders.

💛 Everyone has a role to play in building a stronger St. Louis. We hope you’ll join the conversation!

⚽ Why do YOU open your heart for the homeless? ❤️

We asked Laura Landmann, Gateway180’s Board Secretary, what inspires her to support families experiencing homelessness.

“I open my heart for the homeless because life is hard and that means people need help and sometimes have no one available to help them. I appreciate G180 for providing families with emotional support and program support so they have the confidence and resources to land on their feet again. I continue to pray for our Gateway 180 families. May they flourish in independence and good health!”

September was another month of guiding families home.

Last month, 16 individuals and families moved into safe and stable housing, and Gateway180 provided 4,342 bed nights of safe shelter.

These numbers mean families had a safe place to sleep, support when they needed it most, and a path toward home.

We are so grateful for everyone who helps make this work possible, month after month.

⚽ Why do YOU open your heart for the homeless? ❤️

We asked Stephanie Eichmeyer, a Gateway180 board member, what inspires her to support families experiencing homelessness.

“Every person who walks through Gateway 180’s doors carries a story of hardship, but also resilience, and I believe they deserve to be met with dignity, not judgment. My heart stays open because homelessness isn’t a reflection of someone’s worth, it’s a circumstance we have the power to help change together.”
