Hey everyone! With our getting closer to opening the sanctuary, we’re needing some supplies. Here is our wishlist: Cleaning buckets, Dawn dish soap, laundry detergent, Clorox sanitizing bleach, Odoban, dryer sheets, paper towels, purina or 9 lives dry or wet cat food, scoopable cat litter, clay or pine cat litter, sanitizing wipes, dishwasher detergent, hand sanitizer, antibacterial hand soap, cleaning gloves, disposable gloves, toilet paper, and scrubbing sponges. 🍸 Announcing our second Celebrity Bartender… DuWayne Reichart! 🍸for the Wigs & MuuMuus 2026 happening on Saturday, 10/18 at AJ's Corner.

Many of you know DuWayne a retire from Edward Jones, where he helped people make smart financial decisions since 1999. He was named a Regional Leader in 2008 and has earned numerous awards throughout his career, including the prestigious Spirit of Caring Award in 2018, voted on by his peers. He’s also a 10-time Financial Advisor Leaders qualifier (2012–2022)—which means he definitely knows a thing or two about making good investments.

DuWayne will be joining celebrity bartender Jim behind the bar, where they’ll be serving up cocktails, laughs, weather forecasts, and maybe even a little free financial advice.

Stop by, order a drink, cheer them on, and help support a great cause. Just don’t ask DuWayne if your cocktail qualifies as a good investment! 🍸💰

* Gift cards to groomers, pet stores, doggy day cares, or pet trainers
* Gift cards to local restaurants and coffee shops
* New sports merchandise (Cubs, Bears, Cardinals, Blues, and more!)
* Gift cards to Walmart, Target, sporting goods stores, or other popular retailers
* Passes to local attractions such as zoos, museums, climbing gyms, movie theaters, or other family-friendly activities
* Handmade items, gift baskets, and products from local businesses
* New cat and dog toys, treats, beds, baskets, and other pet supplies
* Monetary donations of any amount
* Bottles of bourbon, whiskey, wine, tequila, vodka, or other spirits to help us create themed liquor baskets

Every donation—big or small—makes a difference! Your generosity helps us raise critical funds to support the animals cared for by our two beneficiary rescues. We are incredibly grateful for your support and for helping us make a lasting impact in the lives of animals in need. ❤️🐾
