While the On-The-Rise Youth Program is currently enjoying a week-long summer break, our Teen Program is still going strong!

We have a lot of exciting things happening at the farm. Our garden is growing quickly and beautifully, so the teens spent Thursday pulling weeds and helping get everything cleaned up and organized. This garden will serve many purposes throughout the summer, including providing fresh produce for our farm, supplying carrots and other ingredients for their farmer’s market booth, and producing food that will be featured at our upcoming Farm-to-Table Event.

The new Teen Building is also coming along nicely! The teens put their creativity to work by painting the new kitchen cabinets, helping make the space their own while learning valuable hands-on skills.

After a day of hard work, we took a field trip to visit the upcoming petting zoo in North Hampton, Ohio. We had a great time exploring and learning more about what they have planned for the community.

We are incredibly proud of the dedication, teamwork, and work ethic these teens continue to demonstrate every week. Stay tuned for more updates and exciting opportunities coming soon!

Hi On-The -Rise family we are still looking for a business for bread/dinner rolls

We’re preparing for our upcoming Farm-to-Table event at On-The-Rise, and we’re looking to partner with a local bakery for fresh bread!

Our teens are working hard to create a meaningful experience centered around fresh, local food—and we would love to highlight and support a local business in the process.

What an eventful yet peaceful week we had! 🌿✨

Our new building is finally getting some much-needed TLC, and it’s been so exciting to watch everything start coming together. The girls spent the afternoon gardening, planting flowers, and adding beautiful touches to help make the space feel warm, welcoming, and full of life.

There’s something special about watching them take pride in creating a space they can truly call their own. We can’t wait to continue transforming it and sharing the journey with everyone!

On-The-Rise Farm is currently running very low on hay and we are looking for local farmers or suppliers who may have hay available for purchase to help feed and care for our animals.

For 24 years, On-The-Rise has had the honor and privilege of serving the youth and families of Clark County. What started as a vision has grown into a program filled with love, guidance, mentorship, and opportunity for so many young people in our community.

None of this would have been possible without one very special man who believed in this program from the very beginning — Judge Monnin. Your support, belief, and dedication helped lay the foundation for everything On-The-Rise has become today. Thank you for always believing in our mission and in the youth we serve.

And to Ms. Cathy — not a single day goes by that you aren’t missed. Your heart, compassion, and impact remain a part of this program every single day. 24 years… wow. What an incredible legacy of changing lives, building futures, and creating family within our community.

Thank you to every youth, parent, supporter, volunteer, mentor, and community member who has been part of this journey. Here’s to celebrating 24 years of growth, resilience, and rising together. ❤️
