The Boo Bash Dash is more than a fun morning on the Springfield Greenway. It’s an opportunity to come together in support of children in our community and the work CASA of Robertson County does to advocate for those who have experienced abuse or neglect.

Join us Saturday, October 24, at the Robertson County Fairgrounds for the Boo Bash Dash 5K or Fun Run/Walk. Bring your family, your friends and your best Halloween costume for a morning filled with fun, community and a cause that matters.

🎃🏃 One week until the Boo Bash Dash!

We’re just ONE WEEK away from hitting the Springfield Greenway for a fun fall morning that supports our work advocating for abused children in our community. ❤️

Join us Saturday, October 24, at the Robertson County Fairgrounds!

📍 Robertson County Fairgrounds
⏰ 5K starts at 8:00 AM
🎃 Fun Run/Walk starts at 8:10 AM
📝 Check-in & in-person registration: 7:30–7:50 AM

The 5K will follow a paved portion of the Springfield Greenway along Sulphur Creek, making it a great course for experienced runners and beginners alike. The 5K will be chip timed by A Matter of Timing, while the Fun Run/Walk will not be timed.

And of course, it wouldn’t be the Boo Bash Dash without a little Halloween fun! 👻

🎃 COSTUME CONTEST: Everyone wearing a costume will be entered to win prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Bring your friends, kids and even your dogs!

🏅 Everyone who crosses the finish line in either event will receive a unique Boo Bash Dash medal. Additional 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals will be awarded to male and female finishers in each age group.

Meet Jennifer Lopez, a CASA advocate who chose to serve because she wanted to make a difference in the community she calls home.

Jennifer became a CASA volunteer in 2026, driven by a desire to give back and help local children. Since stepping into this role, she has found a deep sense of joy and pride in knowing that her time can make a meaningful difference in a child’s life.

For Jennifer, one of the most rewarding parts of being a CASA is having the opportunity to speak up for children who may otherwise feel voiceless or lost. She considers it an honor to advocate for their needs and to be a source of hope and support during some of the most difficult moments in their lives.
