Our FIRST DonorsChoose project of the school year is LIVE!

Ms. Megan Waite is working to stock the Hamlin Student Store with fun items for students to choose from when they earn Logger Loot for demonstrating kindness, respect, responsibility, and other positive behaviors.
We want students to be excited to make good choices—and having a store stocked with fun rewards makes earning that Logger Loot even more meaningful!
For the next FOUR days, when you use the promo code "LIFTOFF" every donation will be matched up to $50! That means your donation can go twice as far in helping us fill those shelves.

Hot off the press, our 2026-27 Hamlin PTSO Calendar includes the dates for this year's social (spring is still TBD), all of our meeting dates (please join us!), upcoming fundraisers, and a QR code for our volunteer sign up that shows all upcoming volunteer opportunities. Pick up a printed copy at Back to School Night this Thursday!

Hamlin Families — Come Join Us!

Our first Hamlin PTSO meeting of the school year is TOMORROW, Tuesday, September 15, at 6:00 p.m.!
Come hear what’s happening at Hamlin and find out how you can get involved.

We’ll be talking about:
💚 The upcoming Hamlin Howl Social
💚 Logger gear and school merchandise
💚 Volunteer opportunities
💚 Forming an 8th Grade Celebration Parent Committee

You’ll also have the opportunity to talk with Principal Brandi Starck, meet Vice Principal Jerami Wood, ask questions, and connect with other Hamlin families.
Childcare will be provided, so bring the kids and come join us!

Hey, Hamlin students and families! Join us for a fun evening at Meadow Park on Tuesday, September 8th, from 6–7 p.m. for a popsicle and a chance to connect with the Hamlin Middle School team!

Come meet our new Vice Principal, Jerami Wood, and say hello to Principal Brandi Starck. This is a great opportunity to get to know our school leaders in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.

School Supplies giveaway today 12-2 at Kiefer Mazda.

The new school year is right around the corner and we’re here to help!

Come out to the 2nd Annual Backpack & School Supply Giveaway Sponsored by The Hope Project on Saturday Aug. 22nd from NOON-2pm at Kiefer Mazda.

We’re giving out 104 free backpacks filled with supplies.

Reserve your tickets Monday Aug 24th at 7am for Project Hope back to school giveaway.

K–12 students enrolled in Springfield Public Schools are invited to Project Hope—a one-day event where they can pick up new shoes, socks, backpacks, and school supplies to get ready for the school year!

Only students enrolled in Springfield K–12 schools are eligible. Unfortunately, supplies and shoe sizes are not available for pre-K students.

• Ticket reservations begin Monday, August 24 at 7 a.m.
• Reserve tickets at: https://tinyurl.com/PH-SPFD-26
• Multiple appointment times are available, so you can choose what works best for your schedule.
• Every student must have a ticket and be present at the event to receive supplies.

• Giveaway will be held Saturday, August 29 from 1-5 p.m.
• Maple Elementary School, 2019 J Street
• Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time—not earlier.

Community school supply give away available for elementary students. Maybe there are some future Loggers in your home that need some items.

If you're in need of elementary school supplies for the coming school year, Chick-fil-A Gateway and Randy Pape Beltline would love to help! On Monday, August 17 from 1 - 6 pm, stop inside the restaurant to browse the basic elementary school supplies available to community members, while supplies last. This is a FREE event to help those who need it, right here in Springfield!

You can also donate new school supplies by bringing them to the restaurant between now and Aug 31! View the flyer in the comments section for the most needed items.

We cannot wait to help you prepare for the year of learning ahead! The Community School Supply Pick-Up Day is open to all in the community. SEF will help distribute any remaining supplies through Springfield Public Schools’ Care & Connection team to students and families preparing for the new school year.
