The Springfield Timbers are a summer American Legion team made up of the top baseball players from South Eugene, Thurston, Springfield, Cottage Grove, Creswell, Pleasant Hill, Harrisburg, Lowell, Mohawk & McKenzie high schools. The Timbers are an American Legion AAA level ball club that competes in the National American Legion Baseball Program designed for High School aged young men ages 16-19. Th

e Titans provide opportunities for the best and brightest up and coming baseball players from the Eugene/Springfield area to continue to develop and improve their talents while competing against the highest level of competition from across the state, and the Northwest.

Nation’s Mini-Mix Springfield Timbers had everything working on Sunday afternoon winning big over Grants Pass Nuggets 11-1

The Timbers got things started in the first inning when Isaiah Burke homered on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs and then scored four more runs in the second inning. Isaac Voelker-Morris, Thomas Touchette, and Dylan Edwards all drove in runs in the frame.

Touchette earned the win for Springfield.The ace lasted five innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out 12.

Nation’s Mini-Mix Springfield Timbers tallied 11 hits in the game. Edwards, Touchette, Voelker-Morris, and Burke all had multiple hits for Nation’s Mini-Mix Springfield Timbers. Touchette and Edwards each managed three hits to lead Nation’s Mini-Mix Springfield Timbers.

Nation’s Mini-Mix Springfield Timbers wins contest against the Corvallis Marketmen on Sunday, 7-2.

The Timbers got things moving in the first inning when Isaac Voelker-Morris singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Springfield scored six runs in the second inning. The big inning was thanks to singles by Lucas Patterson and Aiden Bray, a walk by Brooks Robertson, and an error on a ball put in play by Voelker-Morris.

Leo Reeves earned the victory on the hill for the Timbers. The righty allowed three hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out one and walking zero. Robertson and Thomas Touchette entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Maddox Molony went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Nation’s Mini-Mix Springfield Timbers in hits.

Four hits from Isaiah Burke helped lead Nation’s Mini-Mix Springfield Timbers past Portland Barbers 10-7 on Thursday. Burke doubled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the fourth, and homered in the sixth.

The Barbers scored five runs in the seventh inning, but the Timbers still managed to pull out the victory.

The Timbers got things moving in the first inning when Burke smacked a 2 RBI double.

Aiden Bray took the win for Nation’s Mini-Mix Springfield Timbers. The southpaw allowed seven hits and six runs over six and a third innings, striking out three and walking one. Dillon Springer threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Springer recorded the last two outs to earn the save for Springfield.

The Timbers launched one home run on the day when Burke had a four bagger in the sixth inning.

Nation’s Mini-Mix Springfield Timbers collected 15 hits total. Burke, Lucas Patterson, Maddox Molony, Dylan Edwards, and Brooks Robertson all managed multiple hits for Nation’s Mini-Mix Springfield Timbers. Burke went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Nation’s Mini-Mix Springfield Timbers in hits.
