🤍🐾 This precious 2-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix is Winston, a true cuddle-bug with a gentle soul, a brilliant mind, and a patience that speaks volumes about his personality. Winston is wonderful on a leash and enjoys getting out for a good walk, but he’s just as happy to curl up beside his favorite person for some cozy couch time. 🛋️❤️
His beautiful snow-white coat is accented with patches of rich, dark brindle brown, giving him a look that’s every bit as gorgeous as the heart he carries inside. But Winston’s greatest beauty is his spirit—smart, patient, affectionate, and ready to love his people with his whole heart.
All this special boy needs now is what he’s been waiting for: a forever family who will give him the safety, love, and companionship he deserves. Could you be Winston’s happily-ever-after?

Thanks to your incredible support, 13 precious animals have been rescued! These guys and girls now have a second chance but with so many more still waiting and hoping to be saved, there’s no time to rest.
Our local animal control is overflowing, and C.A.R.E. is constantly at full capacity. Every foster home and kennel is full. Our team works tirelessly—morning and night, 7 days a week—doing everything we can to help. The pound remains packed with animals, still hoping for a chance at life.

👀Look at my faaaaaancy new bandana 😉😉 My name is Retro, and I'm a 5.5-year-old Lab mix. I'm a big baby at heart, as you can see by the way I parade around with an oversized pacifier in my mouth :) I'm obviously a goofball; your first clue is my mugshot taken last month where I'm sticking out my tongue😛 No, I didn't get any tats while I was 'doin time' but I still have quite a few stories I plan on telling my future family about my time in the slammer!
Enough about my past, let's talk about my extensive checklist for the perfect family.
✅Treats
That pretty much sums it up.
I'm good with dogs, kids, I'm housetrained, fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and 100% available, so if that all sounds as good as I think it does, come meet me today! The C.A.R.E. Adoption Center is at 1328 W Sunshine St and open today and tomorrow from 11am-7pm. I sure hope I see you soon. I didn't put on this bandana for nothin'!

🐾❤️ ZIGGY IS READY TO LEAVE HIS PAST BEHIND… AND FIND HIS FOREVER! 🐾❤️

Meet Ziggy — a handsome 4-year-old, 65-pound boy with a BIG personality, an even BIGGER heart, and a story that will tug at yours. 🥹💕

Ziggy joined the C.A.R.E. family late last year after being rescued from the pound with a bullet lodged in his foot. Thankfully, our veterinarians determined it didn’t need to be removed, and this incredible boy has made a wonderful recovery. ❤️‍🩹

But here's the thing about Ziggy… his past doesn't define him.

Today, Ziggy is all about having FUN, being LOVED, and staying close to his people. 🥰 He may be a big 65-pound boy, but at heart? He's just a giant baby who wants to be included in everything! 😂❤️

🎾 He loves to play and show off his spunky side.
💕 He absolutely LOVES his people.
🛋️ When playtime is over, he's ready for affection and cuddle time.
🐾 He bonds deeply and wants nothing more than to know his family is nearby.

Ziggy isn't looking for anything complicated. He just wants what every dog deserves — a family who will cherish him, spoil him, include him, and make him feel like the beloved member of the family he has always deserved to be. ❤️
