Springfield Pack 165 Cub Scouts We are a family oriented Cub Scout Pack for boys and girls in kindergarten through 5th grade. Our Cub Scout Pack is local to Springfield, LA.

We have scouts from all of our surrounding areas as well. We are chartered by Blood River Church of God. Boys and girls in grades kindergarten through 5th grade are eligible to join. We are a family oriented scouting program and would love for your family to join us! We meet every other Thursday night at 7:30PM at Blood River Church of God. What an incredible year for Pack 165! 🎉

We are so proud of all of our Scouts for their hard work, dedication, and achievements this year. Congratulations to everyone who earned awards and advanced to their next rank — your effort and growth have been amazing to watch! 👏🏅

A special welcome to all of our new Scouts and families joining Pack 165. We’re excited to have you be part of the adventure!

As we head into summer, we’re looking forward to fun activities, new adventures, and making even more memories together. It’s going to be a great summer!

Congratulations again to all of our Scouts — keep up the great work, and we can’t wait to see what next year brings!

Big pride moment for our Pack! 🎉

This year, we are excited to celebrate SIX Arrow of Light Scouts crossing over into Troop 172! Watching these Scouts grow, lead, and reach this milestone has been an incredible journey, and we couldn’t be more proud of each one of them.

Their hard work, determination, and Scout spirit have truly paid off. As they take this next step into Scouts BSA, we know they’ll continue to achieve amazing things and represent everything our Pack stands for.

Pack 165 had an amazing time at Cub Family Campout! 🏕️ This year’s treasure hunt theme made everything even more exciting as our Scouts set out on adventures and challenges throughout camp.

There was no shortage of action—BB guns, archery, wrist rockets, gaga ball, rock climbing, plus hands-on science and creative art activities. Every Scout found something they loved, and the energy and enthusiasm were incredible to see!

Most importantly, it was a weekend full of laughter, teamwork, and great memories with family and friends. Everyone had a blast, and we’re already looking forward to the next adventure! ⚜️

🏁 What an incredible Pinewood Derby for Pack 165! 🏎️

Our Scouts showed off their creativity, hard work, and fantastic sportsmanship on race day. From lightning-fast cars to awesome designs, it was a fun-filled event packed with excitement. We even had a friendly showdown on the track between two of our leaders and one of our Den Chiefs — and let’s just say, the competition was fierce! 😄

A big thank you to our leaders, volunteers, and families who made the event such a success — and a very special thank you to our Cubmaster for his dedication and leadership. Your hard work and commitment to our Scouts truly make a difference, and we are so grateful for all you do.

Our Pack, along with Albany Pack 172, would like to extend a big thank you to Springfield Mayor Tracy Bryson for taking the time to visit us and speak about the importance of voting and being active in our community. The Scouts came prepared with lots of thoughtful questions, and Mayor Bryson did a wonderful job answering every single one of them.

We even had a little unexpected excitement when the electricity went out in the middle of the meeting—but that didn’t stop us! The conversation kept going, proving that civic engagement doesn’t require power… just powerful ideas.

Thank you again, Mayor Bryson, for spending the evening with our Scouts and inspiring them to be informed, involved citizens.

Our Cub Scouts had a wonderful visit to Livingston Parish Fire Protection District #2! 🚒
The Scouts loved learning about what our firefighters do and seeing firsthand how they help keep our community safe. We are incredibly thankful for the dedication, bravery, and service they show every day.

Our Cub Scouts have been busy and having a blast! ⛵🎄
We were honored to present the colors for Springfield school's Veterans program and help our Scouts learn the importance of respect and service. Then it was full speed ahead with our Rain Gutter Regatta—lots of cheers, laughs, and friendly competition!
We proudly rode in the Springfield Christmas Parade and wrapped it all up with a fun-filled Christmas party.
So proud of our Scouts and grateful for our amazing families who make it all possible. What a fantastic way to end 2025!
