🏕️🚲🌊 Pack 165 had an AMAZING weekend at Bogue Chitto State Park! 🌊🚲🏕️

Our Scouts packed A LOT into this first campout of the Scout year! They earned their Bike Adventure, played at the water park, swam, fished, hiked, fished some more, explored, roasted hot dogs over the fire, rode bikes again, and squeezed in one last swim before heading home! 😎🔥🎣

And while the Scouts were busy adventuring, the parents even got to sit back and enjoy watching the LSU game together! 💜💛🏈

So many smiles, laughs, new memories, and plenty of tired Scouts by the end of the weekend! 😂

We couldn't have asked for a better way to kick off the new Scout year. What a weekend! What a Pack! ❤️💙

⚜️ Interested in joining the fun? If you have a child in Kindergarten through 5th grade who would like to join Cub Scouts, send us a message! We'd love to tell you more about Pack 165 and how your child can be part of the adventure! 🏕️🚲🎣

🎣🐟 **PACK 165 IS BACK… AND WE'RE STARTING WITH A FISHING ADVENTURE!** 🐟🎣

We kicked off a brand-new Scouting year the best way we know how—**with Cub Scouts, fishing poles, sunshine, and a whole lot of FUN at Tickfaw State Park!** 🌳☀️🎣

Our Scouts got to spend the day outdoors, cast their lines, learn some fishing skills, explore, laugh, and make memories with their Pack family. 🪱🎣💙💛

There was plenty of excitement, a little bit of chaos (because… **Cub Scouts** 😂), and enough smiles to remind us exactly why we love doing this!

And let's be honest… when you put a bunch of Cub Scouts near water with fishing poles, you don't really need an itinerary. **The adventure finds YOU.** 🤣

This was just our **FIRST adventure of the new Scouting year**, and if it was any indication, Pack 165 is going to have one heck of a year! 🏕️🛶🔥🎣

**New year. New adventures. Same crazy Pack.** 💙💛

**Pack 165** had an incredible time at **Science Saturday** at **LIGO Livingston**! 🧪🔬🚀

Our Cub Scouts explored the fascinating world of science through hands-on activities, exciting demonstrations, and learned about the amazing work being done to detect gravitational waves. It was a fun day filled with discovery, curiosity, and adventure!

We were also excited that some of the Scouts from Troop 172 were able to join us for the day. It was great to learn, explore, and share this experience together as part of the Scouting family.

A big thank you to the staff and volunteers at LIGO for making science so engaging and inspiring for our Scouts. Experiences like these help spark curiosity, encourage discovery, and inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and leaders.

Way to go, Pack 165 and Troop 172! We can't wait for our next adventure!

🐊 Last month, Pack 165 took a break from camping and had an incredible adventure at Cajun Pride Swamp Tours!

Our Scouts and their families had a blast exploring the Louisiana swamps, spotting alligators and other amazing wildlife, and learning about the unique ecosystem that makes our state so special. There were lots of laughs, great memories, and plenty of "Did you see that?!" moments along the way.

A big thank you to the fantastic team at Cajun Pride Swamp Tours for making our visit so much fun. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind Louisiana adventure, we can't recommend them enough!

Interested in adventures like this for your family? Pack 165 is always welcoming new Cub Scouts who are ready to explore, learn, and make lifelong memories. We'd love to have you join us!

Big pride moment for our Pack! 🎉

This year, we are excited to celebrate SIX Arrow of Light Scouts crossing over into Troop 172! Watching these Scouts grow, lead, and reach this milestone has been an incredible journey, and we couldn’t be more proud of each one of them.

Their hard work, determination, and Scout spirit have truly paid off. As they take this next step into Scouts BSA, we know they’ll continue to achieve amazing things and represent everything our Pack stands for.

Congratulations to our newest Troop 172 Scouts — your adventure is just beginning! 💙💛
