You don’t have to preach from a platform to make a difference. Sometimes ministry looks like holding a door, pouring a cup of coffee, rocking a baby, welcoming a new family, praying with someone, or simply being the first smile they see when they walk through the doors.

Whether it’s Children’s Ministry, Nursery, Greeters, Coffee Bar, Worship, Media, Hospitality, Outreach, Prayer Team, Events, Setup & Cleanup or simply being willing to jump in wherever there’s a need—there is a place for your gifts, your heart, and your hands at VIC.

Jesus didn’t come to be served, but to serve. And when we serve others, we get the privilege of showing them a little more of Him.

Maybe you’ve been wondering where you fit.

September calendar is out!

God calls us by names that speak to who He created us to become—not by the labels our past, our failures, or other people have placed on us.

He calls you chosen, redeemed, forgiven, loved, His child, a new creation, and more than a conqueror. Those are the names worth answering to.

Sometimes we have to stop responding to names God never gave us: failure, rejected, unworthy, too broken, not enough. When God has spoken something different over your life, His voice gets the final word.

“I have called you by name; you are mine.” — Isaiah 43:1

Today, we remember the lives lost, stand beside the families who carry their absence, and pray for every person still fighting the battle of addiction. 💜

Addiction does not erase someone’s worth. Behind every statistic is a name, a family, a story, and a life that matters.

May we choose empathy over judgment, hope over silence, and love over shame. And may those still struggling know that recovery is possible, redemption is real, and there is always hope.

We remember. We pray. We love. We fight for recovery.
