The Boro Education Foundation is proud to support innovative learning opportunities throughout Springboro Schools!

After reviewing the first round of grant applications, Foundation board members Charles Anderson and Rebekah Giuffre presented $6,494 in grant awards at the June Board of Education meeting, funding 10 projects across the district.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, these grants will help:
📚 Create a new outdoor library at Clearcreek Elementary
🤝 Increase student movement and teamwork opportunities at the junior high
🗽 Provide primary source resources for high school government students
💼 Build a life skills workspace simulation for students with special needs
🤖 Install 3D printers for STEM classes at Dennis Elementary
📺 Purchase a television for announcements in the high school counseling office

“My hope is for this fund to continue to grow with the help of community members and local businesses to ensure that every child has access to the resources they need to succeed while in our schools.”

After serving four terms on the Springboro Schools Board of Education, Charles Anderson believed there was still more he could do to support students and the community. In October 2024, he established the Boro Education Foundation to help expand opportunities for students across the district.

We were honored to present our very first grant award checks at the June 3 Springboro Schools Board meeting!

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible teachers and staff for all they do each day to inspire, support, and educate our students. These grants will help bring exciting classroom opportunities and enhanced student experiences to life this fall.
