Texas FINALLY has a Division I lacrosse program.

SMU announced Thursday that it will add men’s lacrosse as a varsity sport starting in 2027-28.

It’s the first Power Four school to add men’s lacrosse since Utah in 2018-19 and just the fourth in the last 40-plus years.

See 🔗 in comments for more on this historic decision.

On September 29th, the Klein Cannons Lacrosse family joins the lacrosse community in putting our sticks out in honor and remembrance of Huddy.

Some things are bigger than the game. Tomorrow, we stand together as one lacrosse family—showing love, support, and remembrance for a young life that touched so many.

We encourage all of our Klein Cannons families to place a lacrosse stick outside your home and join us in honoring Huddy.

💙 Sticks out. Hearts together. Never forgotten. 🥍

💙🥍 🥍💙

On Tuesday, September 29th, we’re asking the lacrosse community near and far to put your sticks out in honor of Hudson “Huddy” Moye, one of our lacrosse boys whose life was taken far too soon.

Our hearts are with the Moye family, Lakeside Youth Lacrosse, Augusta Lacrosse Club, and everyone in our lacrosse family who loved Huddy and is grieving this heartbreaking loss.

No matter where you live, please put a lacrosse stick outside, take a picture, and share it using . Our hope is to see sticks out in all 50 states so Huddy’s family can see just how much love and support surrounds them. 💙

Please share this post with your friends, teammates, clubs, schools, and lacrosse families across the country. Let’s cover the map for Huddy. 🥍💙
