It’s that time of year again…..Booster Club Board elections!! If you are interested in running for a particular position, you need to be a member of the Booster Club and you simply need to email the Secretary (JoAnna Anderson) at [email protected] with your name and the position(s) you would like to run for so that your name can be added to ballot. Voting by members only will be at the April Booster Club meeting.
Assumed responsibilities: attendance at monthly Booster Club meetings, attendance at periodic Booster Club Board meetings, participation in Booster Club fundraising events, general support/volunteering at Booster Club and Chapter events.
The current Board positions with a quick summary:
President: Runs meetings, liaisons with teachers, communicates with Board members, attends and supports functions
Vice-President: supports President and fulfills all duties in absence of President, responsible for Booster Club FaceBook account
Secretary: Keeps minutes of meetings, facilitates communication with Booster Club members via email, has responsibility for Booster Club email account. Attends and supports meetings and functions
Treasurer: Responsible for financials of Booster Club. Makes monthly reports to members. Attends and supports meetings and functions.
Fundraising: Seeks out fundraising opportunities for Booster Club. Facilitates communication about fundraisers and with community. Attends and supports meetings and functions.
Scholarship: Responsible for forming a selection committee for scholarship selection and presenting scholarship. Attends and supports meetings and functions.
Membership: Facilitates fall membership drive and keeps track of membership. Attends and supports meetings and functions.
