Giving Tuesday is just one week away!

On Tuesday, November 29, you can be a part of a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people to spread goodness and gratitude in the world to transform lives. For most of us, Black Friday and Cyber Monday are the unofficial start to the Christmas shopping season. This year, let’s make Giving Tuesday the official start to the giving season!

Kenyan Schools of Hope received two new girls this week, rescued from Female Forced Early Marriage. One girl has a widowed mother who lives in poverty and does not have the funds to take care of her daughter and the other girl is an orphan. Both circumstances place these girls in danger of FGM and FEM, two traditions which are practiced together. One is eight years old and the other one is six years old. Age six is the youngest we have ever welcomed at the rescue center!

Our director, Catherine has been asked to accept them both at Ewaso Osiligi Center, placed by the Directorate of Children's Services of the county in the area. The request was done with the official written form. This is good news not only for these two young children, but that our EOC is so highly regarded by the authorities!

Praise God for blessing us with the opportunity to forever change the lives of these two precious girls!
