Something big is happening in the state of Kansas. KSHSSA sanctioned flag football for 2026. Our very own Spring Hill Broncos have a great turn out and lots of excitement for this season. We hope to see you all out there to support this new program.

Would you like to see a girls flag football team added to our list of youth sports?

Also, two of our very own SHRC employees/officials will be out there representing Spring Hill. Good Luck Leslie Howell, Lynnlee Vaughan, and the rest of our Spring Hill Broncos.

We're hosting our 4th annual Fall Festival Co****le Tournament with RYZE co****le on the Friday of Fall Festival weekend! Sign up a team and help us raise money for the Spring Hill Ruritans! The tournament format will depend on the number of teams signed up, but your team will be guaranteed 3 matches. The Ruritans beer garden will be available for the tournament. Scoreholio app

Join us for our annual Chili Cook-off at Fall Festival!

Sunday, September 27th at City Park

Free entry, only one person per team needs to register

Participant setup time starts at 9am and lasts until 11am
At 11am the contest will officially begin and will last until 1pm
The judge's taste test will take place at 12pm
After 1pm, we will tally up the votes and announce the winner
Contestants are responsible for supplying all their own utensils & products relating to their chili submission and maintenance of its proper temperature for serving. SPOONS AND CUPS FOR USE IN SERVING THE CHILI TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC WILL BE PROVIDED. A TURN-IN CONTAINER FOR THE JUDGING PORTION OF THE CONTEST WILL ALSO BE PROVIDED. Each contestant must cook/provide a minimum of 1 gallon of competition chili. Remember – the more you bring, the more members of the public that can vote. Contestants can be teams or individuals. One chili per registered team. Chili is defined as any kind of meat or combination of meats cooked with chili peppers, various other spices and other ingredients. All ingredients must be pre-cooked & treated prior to the event – chili is to be brought “ready-to-eat” Chili will be judged on: (1-5 score for each category)

16 teams max and we will break into divisions.

Score some home runs and come have some fun playing softball with SHRC!
