🎉 25 YEARS OF STRONGER COMMUNITY IN OLATHE! 💜 What an unforgettable celebration marking a quarter-century of connection, health, and belonging at the Olathe Family YMCA!
Since 2001, the Olathe Y has been so much more than just a building. It’s been a place where kids learned to swim, families grew together, neighbors became friends, and generations of Johnson County residents found a place to belong.
We were honored to hear from Drs. Bob and Mary Fry, whose tireless dedication helped bring the Olathe Y to life from the very beginning. Alongside Mark Hulet, YMCA of Greater Kansas City President and CEO, they shared moving memories of the Y’s early vision and lasting legacy.
A special thank you to Councilwoman Robyn Essex for presenting an official proclamation on behalf of Olathe Mayor John Bacon, recognizing this 25-year milestone! 📜✨
To everyone who has been part of our story—from those like Dr. Bob who worked tirelessly to open the doors in 2001, to those walking through them today—thank you. Here’s to the next 25 years! 🥳🥂
