ABOUT THE EDUCATION FOUNDATION
Since its inception in 1996, the Foundation has awarded over $85,000 in mini-grants to teachers of the Apollo-Ridge School District who have created innovative instructional activities and projects for the purpose of enhancing student learning and achievement. This "innovative project" program enables the district to provide educational services above and beyond the existing program levels supported by state and local tax revenues.

📣 Coming Fall 2026 - Pickleball Courts!

In addition to other funds & donations (keep your eyes out for fundraising opportunities 🤓), we received approval to use EITC funds (thank you donors! 🤩) to renovate our current tennis courts!

Our teachers 🧑‍🏫 developed integrative academic programs that will support this initiative by combining physical activity with rigorous academic study in biology, anatomy, physiology, and human movement! 🏃

We are extremely excited for students, teachers and our COMMUNITY to benefit from this renovation! 👏

The middle school Gardening Club led by Mrs. Fisher, just returned from their A-REF sponsored trip to Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh, and it was an unforgettable day of learning and exploring!
