One of the biggest reasons behind this project is the sense of community. John Ford wanted the building to be used by the community. And I want to honor that. This project is not just about a building or a family, but a community working together.

I was asked the other day how I would feel if someone sent me a blog for the website, and I jumped at the chance. Everyone has a different sense of community involvement, and I encourage you to share your version with us.

If you have stories, or photos, or anything you would like to share, please let us know. We would love to post them, highlight them on the website, and help throughout various projects.

I've been asked why I have a passion for history. Here's my why. Old ads like this make my imagination go crazy. Imagine if we had ads like this today.

History doesn't have to be boring. I spent a bit of time translating these today, and a few others, and it may have become inspiration for brilliance.

It may not be the Wi******er Mystery House, but the Folta Building holds its own mysteries. 🔍

Why wasn't the building completed?

We know John Ford left Ford City after selling his shares in PPG, but why did construction end?
