Pet Connection is in desperate need of 3-5 of these humane traps. We need them to catch unfixed cats so that we can get them spayed/neutered. Our traps are over 20 yrs old and not working properly anymore. I will include the link to our wishlist in the comments

🐾 WEEKDAY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🐾

Would YOU be willing to give three hours one weekday morning to help the cats at Pet Connection? ❤️

We’re looking for dependable volunteers on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday mornings.

🕐 YOU choose your arrival time! Arrive anytime between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM, then volunteer for three hours from the time you arrive.

And here’s something cat lovers will really appreciate… ❤️🐱

Our shelter cats are cage-free! While you clean and care for their environment, the cats are free to mingle with you, follow you around, rub against your legs, and enjoy some extra love and attention.

You won’t spend your volunteer time looking at cats sadly sitting behind bars. You’ll be right there with them. You’ll get to know their personalities, earn their trust, and experience the joy of helping them.

We’ll train you — no special experience is needed. Just a willingness to help, a dependable commitment, and a heart for cats. ❤️

Our cats depend on us every single day. Three hours of your time can make a tremendous difference in their lives.

If you can help on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, please message us or email:

Big Boy has always loved the kittens that come through here.

Would any of our members be interested in us raffling off one or two Seresto collars or a 6 month of Advantage Flea control?

Do any of our friends have a suggestion as to what businesses we can place a donation jar at?
We so appreciate the advice!
Also, would you be willing to make the jar and monitor the donations that come in to it?
That would be a huge help for our limited volunteers. 🐾💜

🐾❤️ SATURDAY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! ❤️🐾

Do you have one Saturday a month to share? Your time could make a lasting difference in the life of a rescued cat.

Located just outside Avonmore and Apollo, Pet Connection Cat Rescue Shelter is looking for caring volunteers to help our cats feel safe, loved, and comfortable while they wait for their forever homes.

No experience is necessary—we will train you! By helping to keep our cage-free shelter cats clean and welcoming, you give our cats more than a tidy space. You give them comfort, companionship, and the chance to feel cared for after everything they have been through.

Even one Saturday a month can brighten a cat’s day, build their trust, and help prepare them for adoption. Your kindness may be the reason a frightened cat begins to feel safe or a lonely cat feels loved.

If you love cats and want to make a meaningful difference, we would be grateful to have you join us.

📩 Message us today to become a Saturday volunteer—and please share!

THANK YOU TO ALL THAT HAVE DONATED!! 🐾♥️♥️
If we could get a few more donations of this litter, we would be set for winter season. Please note that we mixed this with clay litter to stretch our use of it. It honestly helps us conserve unused litter in the boxes.

🐾 OUR SHELTER KITTIES NEED YOUR HELP! 🐾

We are currently in desperate need of Arm & Hammer Super Scoop Fragrance-Free Clumping Cat Litter. With so many cats in our care, we go through an incredible amount of litter every day! 🐱

This fragrance-free, low-tracking litter helps us keep our shelter clean, comfortable, and healthy for all of our rescued cats.

Would you consider sending a box (or two!) to help our kitties? Every donation makes a difference, and we are so grateful for everyone who helps us continue caring for these precious cats.

🛒 You can purchase this litter through our Chewy Wish List here:

How many others would have taken up their evening to save a cat at 9pm?
Our rescue has no time limits. This is what we do to help stray cats in our community. This little guy is safe now, in our shelter and free from harm.
