🎃 Show off your creativity at the Jack O’ Lantern Fest Pumpkin Carving & Painting Contest! 🎨

All ages are welcome, with one entry per person. Carve it, paint it, decorate it, or dress it up—just make sure the main part of your creation is a pumpkin or another member of the pumpkin family. Every entry needs a title, and entry slips must be completed at drop-off.

Drop off your pumpkin:

Friday, October 9, from 4–7 p.m.
Saturday, October 10, from 8–11 a.m.
Judges will evaluate entries at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 10. You can also vote for People’s Choice during the festival. Winners will be announced by the Jack O’ Lantern Fest Committee at 1 p.m.

Young children ages 0–5 and participants with special needs may have assistance. Please note: non-family-friendly or political entries will not be accepted.

Bring your pumpkin and let your imagination shine! 🎃✨

🍂🍰 Fall Flavors Baking Contest 🍰🍂

Calling all bakers! Join us for a fun dessert-making contest and compete for the coveted Golden Spoon. Make any kind of sweet treat and bring it—with the recipe—to the Spooner Memorial Library on Saturday, October 10.

Open to bakers ages 6–11, 12–17, and 18+. Desserts will be judged on flavor, presentation, and creativity.

⏰ Drop off desserts by 11:00 a.m.
🏆 Judging begins at 1:00 p.m.
