“We didn’t have anywhere to take her.”

The hospital sent her home. The damage came with her. And the family was left holding all of it — without a single safe place to go next.

That gap is exactly why Helping Captives exists. A safe place isn’t just shelter. It’s a daughter, a sister, a mother getting an actual fighting chance in the first hours — the hours that decide everything.

No one was created to be someone else’s.

If you want to help build that fighting chance for the next family, link in bio.

The biggest tournament of the summer is heading to the U.S. — and millions of families are about to fill stadiums, fan zones, and downtowns. ⚽

Big crowds bring big opportunity. For fun. And, sometimes, for predators.

The good news: prevention works. Most attempts fall apart the second a family knows what to look for.

Three things to talk through with your kids before you go:
→ Gut feelings are real. Polite isn’t the goal — safe is.
→ Buddy system, always. Even the teens.
→ Free tickets and “modeling offers” from strangers are setups. Every time.

We exist to provide opportunities for freedom and safety — through prevention, intervention, and recovery. Want to learn more, get trained, or get involved? Link in bio. 🤍

Save this. Share it with a parent headed to a game.

She hadn’t slept through a night in years.
Trauma doesn’t clock out.
But neither does God.
One encounter with Him — and she started to heal.
Follow to see what freedom looks like.

“The Lord used Helping Captives to set me free.”

Now she’s helping other women find that same freedom—reminding them their story isn’t over and there’s still hope.

This is what restoration looks like.

To hear more stories like this and become part of the impact, get your gala tickets. Ticket sales end Friday.
