Not by approval.
Not by rejection.
Not by whether someone understands you.

God already called you chosen, loved, and created with purpose.

The world can change its opinion of you overnight. God does not.

Sometimes fear gets loud.

It tells us the deployment is too long.
The diagnosis is too frightening.
The finances are too uncertain.
The marriage is too strained.
The child is too far away.
The situation is too complicated.

And before we know it, we’re carrying tomorrow’s possibilities as though they’ve already happened.

But fear never gets the final word.

Whatever is making your heart race today is still under the authority of Jesus. The storm knows His voice. The darkness cannot overcome His light. And nothing waiting for you tomorrow will arrive before He does.

So maybe courage today doesn’t look like feeling fearless.

Maybe it looks like whispering, “Jesus, I trust You with this,” and then making the coffee, folding the laundry, answering the text, loving your people, and taking the next faithful step.

You don’t have to know how everything turns out.

You just have to remember Who is already there. 🤍

We remember.

Twenty-five years ago today, our nation was changed forever.

We remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001. We remember the first responders who ran toward danger, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the men and women who answered our nation’s call to serve in the years that followed.

Today, Christian Military Fellowship pauses to honor their memory and to pray for those who still carry the weight of that day.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

May we never forget. 🇺🇸

We often look for God in the extraordinary—the answered prayer, the open door, the unmistakable miracle.

But He meets us in the ordinary, too.

In the quiet before the house wakes up. In a cup of tea at the kitchen table. In the school drop-off line, the unfolded laundry, our everyday frustrations, the phone call from someone we love, and the strength to do today’s work one more time.

Perhaps these moments aren’t interruptions while we wait for something important. Perhaps they are the important things—and holy ground is closer than we think.

Military life has a way of keeping us on our toes—orders change, plans shift, separations stretch long, and something unexpected always seems to pop up.

But no matter what pops up, God is still worthy of our praise. 💗🍿

Today, let’s choose to praise Him not only because our circumstances are good, but because He is good—faithful, present, and worthy in every season.
