‼️Attention Current & Past Reins of Hope RIDERS- we want you to join us for the Flagfest Parade THIS SATURDAY, JUNE 13th‼️

Please arrive at Clay County Fairgrounds by 10:30 and park out of the way of the lineup. Due to the Flagfest Rodeo & Racing taking place at the Fairgrounds, lineup space will be tighter than usual.
If available, please wear a Reins of Hope t-shirt & make sure your child has sunscreen. Water will be provided.

Find a shady area near the Gate C (east gate) by ~ 10:45 AM where you can watch the parade floats start. You're welcome to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Randy's wagon is at the end of parade (entry #130) & he'll pick riders up at the gate.

We're famous! Our parade team made the front cover of the Shopper's Flagfest flyer!

We are looking for volunteers to join us at the parade THIS SATURDAY, June 13th. Randy Koenig is driving a wagon for the Reins of Hope participants and will need help setting up! We will also need helpers to walk alongside the float and hand out candy.

If you're helping Randy with his wagon, please arrive ~ 9 AM. He will unload horses into grass on the East side of the fairgrounds.

If you're walking the route & handing out candy, please arrive before 10:30 AM.

Happy Memorial Day from all of us at Reins of Hope! 🇺🇸🐴

Our first session of the year took place last Tuesday! We focused on getting everyone acquainted, fitting helmets, and helping riders become comfortable with mounting and dismounting. Participants were also introduced to some horse grooming basics.

We have a lot of new kids this year and they did amazing! We’re excited for the weeks of fun and growth ahead! 🐴

🎉 Tonight, May 19th, is our first night of the season! 🎉

We are excited to welcome many brand new participants this session! Because of that, participants will be arriving on a staggered schedule beginning at 6:00 PM for this first week only.

Volunteers: If you have not yet completed the new annual volunteer training, please plan to arrive early so we can get that finished before the evening begins. Volunteers will still be needed for helmets and sidewalking, but we won’t need quite as many volunteers this first night. Setup begins at 5:30 PM for those who are able to help.
