Well... let's just say it involves recreating Abbey Road, blindfolded driving (don't worry—it was a team-building exercise), babysitting, and a healthy amount of workplace shenanigans.

Ambassadors visited the Oneota Environmental Learning Center yesterday for its Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting! Clay County Conservation Board Director Will Horsley thanked all the donors and partners who helped bring this to life—it's a project that's come to fruition over the past 7 years! Many staff offices have moved into the Learning Center, and it will be open to the public daily from 7-3.

Another Flagfest is in the books, and what a weekend it was!

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, organized, and participated in Flagfest 2026. From a parade featuring more than 130 entries to live entertainment, family activities, food vendors, and several new events, it was a great weekend to celebrate our community.

Thank you for helping make the 41st Annual Flagfest another success. We can't wait to do it again next year!
