In observance of the upcoming Memorial Day holiday, we share another Chalker Alumni Spotlight. Joseph Francis Burke was a 1938 graduate of Chalker High School. He was also the first Southington Serviceman to die in World War II. Pictures were donated by Anna Mae Owens.

Our 2026 Giving Fundraiser Campaign is still under way. We’ve reached 75 donations! Every gift… every dollar makes a difference!

Donations will be used to help finance upcoming projects and seed matching funds needed for grant opportunities.

Your gift is an investment into the future ... a gift that helps preserve Southington’s historic resources for our children and grandchildren ... one that will tell our community’s story so future generations understand the importance of local history.
