Our first ever (or maybe just in a REALLY long time) car wash is in the books!

HUGE, GINORMOUS, GIGANTIC, COLLOSSAL, LARGE, BIG, (you get it) THANK YOU to Advance Auto Parts in Painesville Township for allowing us the use of their water and parking lot to hold our car wash! I don't knkw.if we would have been as successful as we were without your generosity!

To our leaders and parents... thank you for ALWAYS showing up for our kids. Without any of you, what we do wouldn't be possible.

To our scouts, both big and small. Thank you for being you. You're incredible human beings and we're so proud of all of you! Keep dreaming big, you'll reach the stars one day!

We CANNOT WAIT until September 8th! That's the day we all come back to scouts and we get to hear about your summer adventures!! See you soon!

Not a ton of pictures because we were all enjoying the moment with the littles.

Awards, food, fellowship, a playground, and a kickball game we haven't played in a few years.

The young and energetic "Rocket Kids" beat the "Wheezy Geezers" by one point, 14-13.

While there will be a few little things we do over the summer months, we will not see them again until September. I can't wait to hear about all of their adventures!

This morning, scouts from our own pack and troops, Pack 174 in Painesville Township, Troop 64 in Painesville Township, and Girl Scouts from Troop 71200 came together to place flags on Veteran's graves at Evergreen Cemetary in Painesville City. Some pics from our awesome weekend at Tough Cubbers!!

We started the morning at the boy's station (which the cubs were absolutely thrilled with) with fireball tossing, Princess Rescue, and Barrel flipping.

We moved to archery, slingshot, and apple smashing with rubber mallets!

Then Master Agility with Scouts BSA Troop 222 - Mentor, Ohio!

After lunch we FINALLY got to Scouts BSA Troop 86G Painesville 's station and played mini golf, human fooseball, disc golf, and Kart Racing.

Next up was the STEM station (missed pics here).

Then the ERC for Venus fly trap planting, coin box making, and fishing. We beat the POURING rain by a minute.

Our cubs had a blast this weekend!

Not too many pics of this weekend, but our 2nd year of GLOW Derby was amazing!! Still figuring out how to make our next one better!!

We would like to give a gigantic, huge, enormous, large, grand, THANK YOU to the leaders of Cub Scout Pack 55 in Madison for offering your chartered organization as a space to hold our Derby in last minute! Without your generosity, we wouldn't have had a Derby this weekend!!

We would like to also give a gigantic thank you to our own leadership team for being able to change plans so quickly. Without the quick thinking, phone calls, and social media posts that were made, we wouldn't have had a Derby this weekend! It was crazy for a little bit, but it all worked out in the end!

Thank you to our scouts for the awesome cars, parents, and leaders for an amazing afternoon and great food!

Also thank you to Scouts from Scouts BSA Troop 86G Painesville and BSA Troop 68 Painesville for volunteering to work the derby as well!!

Congratulations to all of our winners!!

**Update... we found a place!! Thank you all!!! **

HELP! Due to unforseen circumstances, we need to move our Pinewood Derby that is this Saturday, March 21st. Our scheduled start time is 11:00am. We will need to get in at 9:00am to set up. We are planning a GLOW derby. If you have a space that can fit about 80 people, a 30 foot wood Derby track, a space for food as this event is a potluck, plus tables for car garage, please let me know ASAP!! Thank you!!
