MCH/ SPC Camp 2026 is well underway with huge success on the first day. Wonderful sessions hosted by Richard Lamb, Alex Martini, and Monica Sullivan, with mounted and unmounted riders, supported opportunities to focus on flatwork, jumping, and groundwork. The day ended with a wonderful dinner at Sallie Cosgrove’s and a presentation from Richard Lamb. Sending a special thank you to all of our volunteers for keeping our riders hydrated and full of snacks, and also our wonderful facility hosts for letting us utilities their gorgeous spaces. There is one week left to sign up for camp!!!

You can signup at MooreCountyHounds.Com/Events

We are asking all sign ups to be completed by June 11 so that the schedule times can be confirmed. All sign up fees must be paid before June 19th or you will lose your spot in that lesson. If your horse is trailering to a session with a friend in the same session, please include that in your notes. This will help us group you together or in consecutive groups if you are in different levels.

Great job to our Fox hunters who participated and a special thank you to the Moore County Hounds for supporting the Junior members.

We had another great year for the Live Oak Hounds-USPC Foxhunting Challenge! Thank you to Marty and Daphne Wood for their ongoing support of this program.

We had 121 Pony Club members, 13 Pony Clubs and 18 Hunts participating for a total of 793 days out in the hunt field. The following clubs split a cash prize of $10,000 with the first-place club receiving $3,100:

1st Place: De La Brooke Pony Club

2nd Place: Cedar K**b Pony Club

3rd Place: Live Oak Hounds Pony Club - FL & GA

4th Place: Wilton Pony Club

5th Place: Old Dominion Hounds Pony Club

6th Place: Santa Fe Pony Club

Honorable Mention to the other Pony Clubs participating: Elkridge-Harford Pony Club,
