We are so thankful for all of our donors, big and small. Parkview Community Health Improvement program is our main sponsor of Kids Connect, but we also have families and individuals who drop off donations at different times. We couldn't do this without you!!!

Besides, keeping chocolate milk at the lunches requires the purchase of BIG bottles of chocolate syrup!

Andrea Baldwin came today and shared how important bees are to each one of us. Then she helped us make a bee watering station for our yard!!

Our anniversary is coming up on June 30!!!!

Of course, we will be celebrating at L&C with cake! 🍰
In light of the celebration we are flipping the menu for the last two weeks in June. This coming Tuesday will be breakfast and we will have the Potato Soup and Sliders on June 30. (And of course 🎂)

An egg-normous thank you to Jarrad Lancaster for the farm eggs donated to us!! We had breakfast for lunch today and served scrambled eggs, sausage, bananas, and waffles to the kids. After filling up on the food the kids ran it all off in the gym with games run by Pastor Steve!

Alicia Evans is working with Kacey Anderson, the director for Whitley County United Way to provide weekend good for kids from Blessing in a Backpack!!!

We passed out food to about 20 kids at today's lunches. Thank you so much to Blessings in a Backpack for their support of Whitley County kids!

I failed to get pictures today so instead, let me introduce you to the amazing director of Kids Connect this summer! Elizabeth is a senior at Whitko/Homeschool and planning to be an education major in college. She's worked with young people for many years at her church and volunteering at our programs. Michele will be cooking and assisting with the activities as needed. We are so glad to have both of them working for us this summer.
