We forgot to take pictures, but the troop volunteered to help the AmVets place flags on veterans' graves this Saturday at the Cleveland Township Cemetery.

Troop 85 worked on Finn's eagle scout project of restoring and cleaning gravestones in the cemetery.

We restored (lifted, leveled, and glued broken stones) 38 gravestones, and cleaned 116.

We worked on gravestones in the older section of the cemetery, and had a focus on restoring the veteran gravestones. Thanks to Gary Bird, Jim Yeager, and Tim Gable for your guidance, expertise, and providing the tools and supplies.

Special thanks to all the scouts and other volunteers that did your good turn for the day(s) and helped to get Finn's project completed.

We are wanting to get the local cub scout pack started back up again, and are looking for parents, grandparents, former scouts, and former scouters to help run the pack.

If you or anyone you know is interested in volunteering please reach out and help bring back scouting for our younger kids.
