A huge thank you to our El Dorado Community Foundation for their continued support of Tahoe youth 🙌🙌🙌

It was our honor to once again host Philanthropy On Tap, our annual nonprofit networking event in both Tahoe and on the Western Slope of El Dorado County. This year we welcomed many new-to-the-event organizations and heard stories of the great work they are involved in throughout the county!

As with last year, we had secret judges in the audience evaluating the presentations from each organization and deciding upon a winner to receive a $500 grant. This year's winners were the Boys & Girls Club El Dorado County Western Slope and the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe!

This camp is available for 2nd-3rd grade from July 20-23 and 4th-5th grade from July 27-30.

Explore erosion, plant science, and artistic observation through hands-on labs and nature journaling in this 4-day outdoor science-and-art adventure.

We still have spots available in our Makers Camp!
This camp is available for 6th-8th grade from July 6-9.

The 4-day STEM Camp allows participants to design and build inventions that address real-world problems. Campers will explore 3D printing, woodworking, laser cutting, electricity, and motors while using engineering tools. The camp encourages creativity and innovation through brainstorming, prototyping, and testing in a fun, challenge-based environment, helping middle schoolers develop skills, discover interests, and gain hands-on experience relevant to future careers.

We still have spots for our Functional Pottery Art Camp!

This camp will run from July 13–17. It is available for 5th Grade & Above.

Young people love to explore with clay and the potter's wheel is pure fun! Campers will learn to create cups, bowls, and pots of various shapes and sizes, plus all the essentials: preparing clay, centering, forming, and finishing pieces, adding handles and decorative elements, and glazing their creations. All finished pieces ready for pick up the following week.

Join the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe and Tahoe Youth & Family Services for a fun 7-week summer program designed to increase your knowledge, develop your leadership skills, and introduce you to careers and opportunities right here in South Lake Tahoe.

- Understand how the South Shore is governed and operated
- Explore locally based careers and opportunities
- Increase civic awareness and community engagement

Last week, Whole Foods Market Lake Tahoe employees and our staff volunteered at the The Black Keys concert, the first show in the concert series at Caesars Republic. Caesars Republic donates to the Club for each volunteer group we bring to its summer events. Thank you, Whole Foods Market and Caesars Republic, for supporting the Club!
