We started as a private Meetup and Facebook group in December 2014 and in our first year grew to over 500 moms who ended up doing some pretty amazing things in our community. That’s when we decided to take our little wine drinking mommy group to the next level and file for 501(c)(3) status. Sippy Cups and Chardonnay is and always will be for moms who like to drink wine, meet other fabulous moms, d
evelop friendships for themselves as well as their kiddos, give back in their community and have tons of fun doing it. Our group is pretty diverse, we have stay-at-home moms, working moms, old moms, young moms, single moms, moms that are brand new to Utah and ones that are native. Most of our kiddos are under twelve, but all ages of moms and kids are always welcome. Sippy Cups & Chardonnay also supports local charities by promoting volunteerism and donating our extra Meetup dues to different charities throughout the year. A few of our favorites are The Road Home, Primary Children’s Hospital, Children’s Justice Center, South Valley Services, Volunteers of America, Operation Underground Railroad and Utah Foster Care Foundation/DCFS.
