"When my sister was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, I wanted to do anything I could to help. As her identical twin, I was blessed to be her stem cell donor, and that experience forever changed how I see the strength of family, hope, and the power of community.
Today, I'm honored to participate in the HealthTree Challenge to support the organization that helped guide us through one of the most difficult seasons of our lives. Six years after being diagnosed with multiple myeloma, Ken is in remission thanks to advances in science, exceptional healthcare, and the unwavering support of his family and friends.
This fall, he's taking on a new challenge by walking the Camino for a Cure.
Ken is walking to raise awareness for multiple myeloma and help fund research, patient education, and support services that empower people living with blood cancer.
As Ken says, "We can make a difference."

Because CLL can affect the immune system, it's important to protect your skin and watch for any new or changing spots.
Simple habits like wearing sunscreen, limiting sun exposure, and having yearly skin exams can help support early detection.
