How does VOTE FBF work?

VOTE FBF (Voters Organized To Elect Farm Bureau Friends) is Kansas Farm Bureau's political action committee, supporting candidates who understand agriculture, rural Kansas and the issues important to Farm Bureau members.

The process begins at the county level, where County Evaluation Committees review candidates and make recommendations to the VOTE FBF Board. Candidates are evaluated based on their support and understanding of agriculture and rural issues — not their political party affiliation.

VOTE FBF is independent, bipartisan and member-driven. It is funded through voluntary contributions from Kansas Farm Bureau members and guided by a board of Farm Bureau members elected from districts across Kansas.

For more details on VOTE FBF, visit https://www.kfb.org/Advocacy/VOTE-FBF.

Wheat harvest season is here! Every year from mid-June through mid-July, Kansas fields transform from green to golden as one of the most iconic harvests in the country gets underway. Starting in south central Kansas and moving north and west, the harvest covers a state that produces about one-fifth of all the wheat grown in the United States.
