On June 19, 1865, the last enslaved African Americans in Texas were finally informed of their freedom—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

💙Members of our Children's Therapy Services Team attended the 2026 Indiana Early Intervention Conference - an amazing chance to learn and grow alongside each other as well as continue to build strong relationships with other agencies, therapy providers and leaders in the state of Indiana!
The vision googles (pictured) replicate how those with a visual impairment see the world around them and had a big impact on the therapy providers that attended the session on the Impact of Low Vision and Blindness on Development with Hands-On Practice. Great experience for all!
