Dog Days of Summer starts now! 🐶☀️

September First Fridays: Dog Days of Summer, presented by Holladay Properties, is here! Grab your favorite four-legged friend and head downtown for an evening of treats, dog-friendly patios, a splash pad (6-7 PM), live music, and plenty of tail-wagging fun. 💦🐾

It may be a hot one today, but we’ve got plenty of ways to keep you and your furry friends cool at First Fridays: Dog Days of Summer presented by Holladay Properties! 🐶☀️💦

Come cool off in our pop-up splash pad happening from 6-7 PM, courtesy of our friends at the South Bend Fire Department, in Key Bank Plaza. You’ll also find additional cooling stations in front of The Pigeon & The Hen Pottery and in Studebaker Plaza. Stop by the DTSB info booth for dog treats and water bowls for your four-legged friends, plus a freeze pop for the humans! 🐾

Your pet’s wellbeing is important to us! Please consider your pet’s breed, age, size, and individual heat tolerance before heading downtown. Keep an eye out for signs that your pup is getting too hot, take plenty of breaks in the shade and splash pad, and let a staff member know if you or your pet need water. ❤️

We want Dog Days of Summer to be fun for everyone, including our four-legged friends! See you downtown! 🐕🌴

Thanks to our friends at the South Bend Fire Department, a pop-up splash pad (an idea inspired by Niles Mayor Nick Shelton) is coming to this First Fridays: Dog Days of Summer, presented by Holladay Properties. Kiddos and doggos alike can cool off and play to their hearts' content in the water from 6–7 PM in Key Bank Plaza near the I Heart SB sculpture.
