Today, we celebrate Juneteenth, a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equality. It is a time to honor the strength, achievements, and contributions of Black Americans throughout history and in our communities today.

At the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northern Indiana Corridor, we are committed to creating spaces where every young person feels valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential. As we celebrate this important day, we also recognize the importance of learning from history and working together to build a brighter future for all.

Join us in reflecting on the significance of Juneteenth and celebrating the diversity that strengthens our Clubs and communities.

We’ve got something hoppy to share! 🐸💙

We’re thrilled to announce a fun new partnership with Potawatomi Zoo!

In honor of our mascot, Blu the dart frog, the Zoo has officially named one of their Blue Dart Frogs “Blu.” And now, you can hop in and adopt him!

Blue dart frogs may be small, but they’re bright, bold, and full of energy, just like the incredible youth we serve every day.

Half of the adoption proceeds will come back to the Club. Stop by the Zoo, say hi to Blu, and use the link below to support two great organizations in our community!

A big congratulations to our Club staff Edmond White, who was honored as a Most Valuable Program Professional at the Indiana Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs Hall of Fame and Area Council Awards Dinner last week.

Since 2020, Edmond has grown from a Youth Development Professional to a Program Manager at the Phair Family Leadership Center. This award recognizes his exceptional leadership of our alternative-to-suspension and academic remediation program, where he utilizes trauma-informed care to support students through their most difficult challenges.

Edmond has truly found his calling working with middle and high school teens who need extra support. His ability to balance compassion with accountability ensures that no student is written off, but instead equipped with the tools to return to their schools stronger than before.

Please join us in recognizing Mr. White for his commitment to our mission and his life-changing work with our youth!

She’s a lot of things to a lot of people—mom, Coach, sister, aunt, and friend.

But at the Club, she’s Miss Katie. While she wears many hats, the impact she has made on our kids and teens through our workforce development programs is truly in a league of its own.

Katie, we are so proud to call you part of the Club family. We will always fight with you! Read the whole story here: http://bit.ly/3QvC4Yj

Katie Rodriguez has been through a lot in the last 11 years. Her own cancer battle was just the latest obstacle to overcome. See link below ⬇️
