⚽🇭🇹 Today, Haiti takes the field against one of football’s greatest nations.

Brazil has inspired generations of football fans around the world, and tonight the Grenadiers will share the World Cup stage with one of the sport’s most celebrated teams. Brazil and Haiti meet in Group C at the FIFA World Cup in Philadelphia. (Lincoln Financial Field)

For the boys participating in sports and extracurricular activities, moments like these remind us why opportunities matter. Every player starts somewhere—with a ball, a dream, a team, and the belief that hard work can take them further than they ever imagined.

At Hopeful Hearts for Haiti, we believe sports help young people develop confidence, discipline, teamwork, resilience, and leadership—qualities that extend far beyond the playing field.

As we cheer for the Grenadiers tonight, we also celebrate the young athletes in our community who are learning, growing, competing, and dreaming of their own futures.

Play with heart. Dream without limits. 🇭🇹💙⚽

⚽🌟 Every champion starts as a student with a dream. As Haiti competes on football’s biggest stage, young Haitians everywhere are seeing what is possible when talent, hard work, and determination come together.

One of those inspirations is Melchie “Corventina” Dumornay, whose journey from Haiti to the international spotlight continues to encourage a new generation of girls to dream boldly and believe in their potential.

At the Lycée des Jeunes Filles du Cap-Haïtien, extracurricular activities play an important role in helping students build confidence, leadership skills, teamwork, discipline, and resilience. Whether through sports, cultural activities, creative expression, or community engagement, these experiences help prepare young women for success both inside and outside the classroom.

Hopeful Hearts 4 Haiti is proud to support opportunities that allow students to discover their strengths, develop their talents, and pursue their aspirations.

Today’s students. Tomorrow’s champions. 🇭🇹💙

Every child deserves the opportunity to discover the confidence that comes from learning and growing through education.
When students build reading confidence early, they gain skills that support learning across every subject and open doors to future opportunities. A strong foundation in literacy helps children develop independence, curiosity, and belief in their own potential.

Join us in supporting the students of Haiti and helping create brighter futures through education.
