Congratulations to our consortium President Doug Hutton. Keep up the good work.

The Chamber of Commerce would like to recognize our April "Ambassador of the Month" ....... Doug Hutton.

Doug Hutton is the Director of Member Services at South Kentucky RECC, which serves 11 counties in the Lake Cumberland region. As the Director, Doug’s responsibility is to oversee the Member Services and Energy Services departments at the cooperative. Doug will tell you that SKRECC has a great team of employees that are focused on serving our membership and the needs of our communities.

In addition to being a Chamber Ambassador, Doug is the current President of the Lake Cumberland Regional Training Consortium (LCRTC), the President-Elect of the Noon Rotary club, a 2022 graduate of Leadership Lake Cumberland, and a Young Entrepreneur Academy (YEA) Program mentor for the past 4 years. He also volunteers for the Special Olympics and coaches a special needs baseball team for his daughter.

As a transplant from MO into KY, Doug and his family quickly became die-hard UK fans and they love to attend football and basketball games. Go Big Blue!!

Starting with basic operations such as data entry, editing, formatting, and creating simple formulas, the program progresses to intermediate topics, including themes, cell styles, and various functions for dates, numbers, and text manipulation. Moving to the advanced level, participants delve into tables, pivot charts, advanced financial functions, and workbook protection strategies.
