FYI...re: the landing dock

It’s that time of year again! The docks at the Bass Lake, Apple Lake, and Pine Lake boat landings will be removed for the season next week.

Each year, St. Croix County Parks maintains these boat landings throughout the spring, summer, and fall to help keep them accessible for residents and visitors. Find out more about these boat landings and other St. Croix County Parks here: https://www.sccwi.gov/333/Parks

The aerator shed on the north end sustained some storm damage. Thanks to some of our shoreland owners (Pete, Frank, Pat, Ken, Ryan and Duane) for materials and time, the building has been repaired.

PSA: The water level at the boat landing is really low right now. Keep that in mind when deciding when to take your boat out for the season. You may want to get it out sooner rather than later!.

The lake association board is a five-member volunteer board that helps set the tax levy, coordinates with the Township and County, handles issues with the boat landing and aerators, and works with the DNR on things like fishery stocking and lakeshore management. There are positions on the board that are available, and we could really use some more engagement from our community. If you have any interest in serving your lake neighbors, feel free to contact us here or email [email protected]. Anyone who is a resident of the rehabilitation district is eligible; no experience required, just a willingness to show up for a few short meetings every year where we discuss topics important to the district.
