Last week started with these✂️ 👚 and ended like this at MBA walkathon raising money and awareness for Joyful Paws Service Dogs. Great work by project Manager Zurina W. for her Community Give Back Project running a T-shirt drive and cutting countless shirts to repurpose into dog toys! Thanks to the students who braided and knotted over 200 toys to donate to the cause!

Thank you SHS Junior, Aja D, for leading today’s Teen Cuisine: Crispy Lebanese Meat-Stuffed Pita! This activity was part of Aja’s Capstone Project in trying new cultural foods!

🙌 Here’s a little bit about why this student was nominated; “Landon consistently demonstrates what it means to be a kind, thoughtful, and engaged member of our school community…is always friendly and considerate towards both his teachers and classmates…his positive attitude is evident each day as he comes to school with a smile on his face and a readiness to learn. Landon recently showed tremendous leadership and compassion by creating a service project in conjunction with our town's Teen Center to support our local food pantry. He organized the Breakfast Boost food donation drive, encouraging students and families in our community to contribute. He even bravely appeared on our school television broadcast to promote the project, demonstrating both courage and dedication to helping others.”
