Thanks to You, These Kids Have a Bright Future
Your investment in our staff and programs provides vast opportunities for Dream Center kids to learn all sorts of life skills, in addition to getting help with the their schoolwork. Thank you ER supporters!

The sewing club completed their beautiful quilts today! 🧵✨

There may have been a little frustration and even a few almost tears along the way, but there were definitely lots of smiles seeing the finished projects. So proud of their perseverance, patience, and hard work! 💛

“But those who persevere to the end will be saved.” Matthew 24:13

Celebrating 25 Years of Faithfulness
"During the 12 years we have been part of ER, we have seen God's faithfulness woven into every part of the journey. At the Fish Hoek Dream Center, the Lord is transforming lives, restoring hope and opening doors we could never have imagined.

"From the small beginnings at our kitchen table to a thriving space of learning, community, and discipleship, His provision and guidance have been constant.

We are continually reminded that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Phil. 4:13)
"It is a privilege to walk alongside children and families as they discover how to dream big dreams. Looking ahead, we are excited to see how God will continue to grow this work, deepen impact, and raise up the next generation to dream big and live boldly for Him." - Ron and Amy Townsend, FHDC Directors

Fun Fact: Ecuador is known for growing premium roses. Why?
Ecuador has the highest biodiversity per square kilometer in the world. It has high-altitude Andean conditions, including 12 hours of direct daily sunlight year-round. Also, nutrient-rich volcanic soil and cool temperatures slow growth, producing thick stems, massive blooms with vibrant and unique colors. Hero Corner: Built To Last
This year marks 25 years of Extreme Response—25 years of steady, faithful work in communities around the world. Recently, I visited with long-time ER supporters from Pennsylvania. It was a meaningful reminder: the impact we see today has been built through years of trust, consistency and shared belief in this work.

That kind of foundation doesn’t happen quickly. It is formed through years of presence, learning and commitment. And it is that same foundation that gives us confidence as we look ahead.

As we reflect on what has been built, I invite you to consider:
What first drew you to this work?
What continues to inspire you about the impact being made?
What might you join us in praying for as we look toward the future?

I genuinely welcome the opportunity to hear from you. More than anything, it is a privilege to step into the next 25 years together, building on all that has been established and trusting God for what is ahead.

Thank you for the role you have played in making this foundation possible.

Elie and Shane Rebuild Trust
Wondering how your support of ER transforms lives? Keep reading. Meet Elie and Shane (privacy names) who live in Metro Manila. Their family once faced deep pain, separation and broken trust. They live in a small home built in a parking lot, supported by Elie’s husband who works as a jeepney driver. Life has never been easy, yet they stand strong through faith and perseverance.

God used ER’s iBIKE staffers to guide Grandma Elie and her granddaughter Shane to build a Christ-centered family. Elie, a loving mother of four, encouraged Shane to join iBIKE after seeing how God first transformed her own life through the program.

By studying the Bible, Elie learned to forgive, heal, and trust God instead of living in fear and hurt. By God’s grace, their family was restored in love and unity. Shane eagerly attends church and Sunday School.

Our Dream Center kids do way more than schoolwork. They love getting their hands messy, whether it's in the dirt at the Peace of God farm or in the kitchen. Last month, the Baking Club kicked off. We started by making peanut butter Rice Krispie treats topped with chocolate.

Watch this - https://www.facebook.com/reel/1493487765519792 - and feel the joy these kids are experiencing as they learn how to bake. Aunty Chloe (Dream Center Leader) can confirm that MANY chocolate covered spoons were licked in the making of this reel. 😂🥄

Your Time Volunteering May Be Short. Your Impact is Long-Lasting!
We were blessed to have a robust team of 25 hard-working teens from Arrowhead Christian Academy volunteer in Ecuador. The students brought lots of energy and compassion. As often is the case, they found serving cross-culturally enriching and rewarding. The Arrowhead team also served with ER in 2024. During that trip, they completed a home project for Sophie’s (privacy name) family. It was a sweet reunion when returner Andee (photo) got to hug and play with Sophie at the Dream Center.
