Calling All Boxer Lovers! We have a post today for a pet owner that needs some help rehoming her handsome boy. (Tyson is NOT with AAMR. He is with his family.) The family moved to the SML area recently and soon after they arrived, they got some unexpected news of a family member's serious health issue. As difficult as it is, when you know you are not able to care for your beloved pet and care for yourself, hard choices have to be made.

We'd like to introduce you to Tyson. He is a 7-year-old male, neutered boxer (also up-to-date on his vetting) and he has lived with his family since he was 6 weeks old. He is crate trained and a good leash walker. He is a big boy (per his owner)!. Mom says he is 'not overly friendly at first (but has never bitten anybody)'. She says he prefers the ladies over men, but he's fine once he knows you, and he has a good disposition. If you know boxers, this is pretty much the norm for them.

If you might be interested in giving Tyson a new home please send us a message and we will put you in touch with his family. Please be sure and share this plea for help far and wide! And if you know anyone involved in boxer rescue, please be sure to share with them.
