The sixth official Bosley’s Beagle adoption is here, and without a doubt, this one is the most special.

Meet Michelle and her family.

When we rolled into Georgia from Wisconsin on May 6, Michelle opened her home to all 20 of the Bosley’s Beagles. Since that day, she has lived and breathed beagles. She has been one of the most integral parts of this rescue, dedicating countless hours to helping these girls begin their new lives.

She has been at the helm of the adoption process, reviewing applications, interviewing families, conducting home visits, answering questions, and helping make sure each beagle found the right home. She has celebrated every success right alongside us.

I knew she would fall in love with these girls. Truthfully, I think she fell in love with all of them.

But there was one who was home the moment she arrived.

Maggie Mae.

From the very beginning, there was something special between them, and now it is official.

Some adoptions feel especially meant to be, and this is one of them.

We are so excited to announce that Khalida has officially found her forever family!

This wonderful family first became part of the Bosley’s Place family back in 2018 when they adopted a tiny pittie puppy named Pecan. These days, Pecan is known as Barkley, and he has grown into an incredible dog and the very best big brother.

Now Barkley has a new little sister, and Khalida has a family of her very own.

There is something incredibly special about watching families return years later to adopt again. It is a reminder that once you become part of the Bosley’s Place family, you are always family.

Congratulations to Khalida, Barkley, and their amazing family. We couldn’t be happier for all of you and cannot wait to watch this next chapter unfold together. ❤️🐾🐶🏡

🎉💙🐾💙 FINALLY!!!! 💙🐾💙🎉

Seven months ago, I received a call about a tiny French Bulldog puppy who was on death’s doorstep, suffering from a severe upper respiratory infection. I wanted desperately to bring him into Bosley’s Place, but because he was part of an active cruelty case, he had to remain in the custody of the shelter.

Even though he wasn’t my puppy and I couldn’t take him into rescue, I wasn’t about to stand by and do nothing. I stepped in to help, and we were able to save his little life.

For the last seven months, I’ve waited.

I’ve waited for the court case to conclude. I’ve waited for justice to be served. And I’ve waited for the day this little guy could finally come home.

A little while ago, while I’m away in Alaska, I received the text message I have been hoping for. The court case is over. The abuser has been convicted. And this little man is finally mine.

Everyone, please meet the newest Bosley’s Place baby: LJ.

LJ stands for Lane Jr.

It seems especially fitting that he would be released while I’m in Alaska because his shelter name was Arctic.

Some stories take a little longer than others, but this one was worth every minute of the wait.

The bucket list puppies have apparently decided that ordinary puppy photos are beneath them. Maldives, Machu Picchu, and Serengeti are fully committed to creating the perfect album cover, and judging by the amount of posing, dramatic stares, and questionable artistic direction, they may be onto something.

Whether they’re dropping the hottest new puppy record of the summer or just plotting their next round of mischief, one thing is certain: these three are getting chubbier, cuter, and more entertaining by the day.

We’re still waiting on the album title, but we have a feeling it’s going to be a bestseller. 🎶🐾💙

This sassy little girl would have much rather been playing than posing for pictures, but she still managed to show off plenty of charm along the way.

Teddy Bear is settling into his foster home at The Tucker Farm!

After spending his first few days with us in the nursery receiving flea treatments, nutritious meals, enrichment activities, and plenty of love, Teddy Bear was ready for the next step in his journey.

Now in foster care, he is settling in with his new family and beginning to explore life outside the nursery. Every day brings new experiences, new adventures, and more opportunities for this sweet boy to grow and gain confidence.

Trellis is discovering that life is all about balance.

In the mornings, this sweet little girl is all snuggles. Her favorite place to be is curled up in your lap, tucked into your robe while you enjoy a cup of coffee and start your day.

🌼💕 TRIXIE AWAITS LOVE 💕🌼

A week and a half ago, we announced that Trixie had found her forever family, and we were absolutely thrilled for her.

This morning, we received heartbreaking news that due to unexpected medical issues, her adoptive mom has made the difficult decision not to move forward with the adoption.

We are incredibly sad for her. There was an immediate love connection between her and Trixie, and we know this decision was made out of love and with Trixie’s best interests at heart. We are wishing her all the best as she focuses on her health and the road ahead.

That means sweet Trixie is once again available for adoption.

Trixie is everything you could want in a puppy: adorable, affectionate, playful, and ready to become someone’s best friend. While this isn’t the outcome any of us were hoping for, we know her perfect family is still out there.
