**VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY** We had an amazing company (Ascend Federal Credit Union) pledge to sponsor 100 birthdays, which they will be wrapping and packing up NEXT WEEK!!

We need several faithful ASC volunteers (or any new folks who want to get to know us!) to come in to our office this week to assemble scroll packs for the birthday boxes. Help us fill out birthday scrolls, distribute books, and get everything ready for upcoming January birthdays!

12th Annual Youth Hunt & Fish Camp

What an amazing four days of hunting and fishing!

A huge thank-you goes out to "Odom’s Taxidermy and Deer Processing" (https://www.odomstaxidermyanddeerprocessing.com/),

Matt Simcox with the "Hunters for the Hungry program" (https://tnwf.org/hunters-for-the-hungry/),

Chad Grubs from Potts Processing, Tennessee Christian Outdoors, Horton Haven Christian Camp, and the numerous landowners from Lewisburg to Woodbury, Columbia, Chapel Hill, Murfreesboro, and beyond!

We had 35 ASC kids come from 11 different states, with over 40 committed mentors investing in these boys and girls. Our mentors are outstanding people, family folks who take time out of their lives to invest in our children in such meaningful ways.

They show the love of God through their time, care, and example, teaching our kids about conservation and helping them appreciate and care for God’s creation as He intended.

Thank you to everyone who helped make these four days possible. What a blessing you are to our kids!

Day 2 of our annual youth hunt was a blast! Zip lining, target shooting, field sports, and one big party, the kids had so much fun!

Our mentors are paired up with their young hunters, and we’re ready for tomorrow’s big day. We’ll be up at 4 a.m. to get ready to head out for deer hunting!

And so it begins… here we come!!

We have begun our 12th Annual Youth Deer and Fish Camp here in Chapel Hill, Tennessee, at the HortonHavenChristianCamp.

Thirty-five ASC kids have gathered to learn gun safety, conservation, shooting skills, and how to put meat on the table without going to Publix!

This is what happens when they don't have there phones and you leave yours on the table and walk away.

These little lovelies have a way of making camp a whole lot of fun!!

CALLING ALL ASC KIDS WITH A NOVEMBER BIRTHDAY!

Meet Ray Villanueva, our Operations Manager, the man behind the scenes. Ray is responsible for making sure that your birthday gifts arrive at your doorstep just before your birthday comes around, in honor of you and in memory of your fallen military parent!

Ray oversees the fulfillment of birthday wish lists for approximately 250 ASC children every month, celebrating children ages 1 through 18 throughout the year. That’s a whole lot of shopping, wrapping, packing, and birthday joy!

That's no joke, ASC spends $35,000 thousand dollars a month on birthday gifts, for the children of our fallen!!

From making sure wish lists are updated to coordinating the shopping, Ray carefully manages each step. He works to ensure the right gifts are selected, beautifully wrapped, securely boxed, and shipped in time for each child’s special day. Every package represents care, thought, and a reminder that your ASC family is thinking of you.

At A Soldier’s Child Foundation, a birthday gift means much more than what’s inside the box. It is one way we say: You are loved. You are remembered. And your fallen parent’s sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Please help us congratulate ASC recipient "Jaxon" on earning the rank of Eagle Scout with BSA Troop 9299 on October 15, 2026!

Jaxon has been an outstanding ASC camper and a leader among his peers through his years at Journey Camp, Hunt Camp, and many other ASC adventures. His character, dedication, and willingness to lead make us confident he’ll be stepping into a PS23 leadership role before long!

Jaxon, we are proud of you and the hard work and perseverance it took to reach this milestone!

Over $30,000 raised for A Soldier’s Child Foundation!

A heartfelt thank-you to the members of the Newmar Kountry Klub for their generosity during the recent motorhome convention at The Ridge in Sevierville, Tennessee.

Mike and Beth Klingele serve as Region 5 Directors, covering Tennessee and seven other southeastern states. Mike is also a West Point graduate and retired Army veteran with 30 years of service.

Joining them are longtime ASC volunteers Phil and Charlene Budd, both U.S. Air Force veterans. Phil also previously served on ASC’s Board of Directors.

Together, these dedicated friends helped spearhead the Sharing and Caring fundraiser, bringing members together to support the children of our fallen American warriors.

While the screen behind them shows more than $27,000, the generosity continued! The final total exceeded Phil’s $30,000 fundraising goal, thanks to donations from Newmar Kountry Klub members.

Mike, Beth, Phil, Charlene, and every member who contributed, thank you for honoring our fallen and caring for the children they left behind. Your generosity makes a lasting difference!

Dear ASC Supporters and Families,

TONIGHT (10/14) at 9pm EST, 8pm CST on the CW, catch A Soldier's Child Foundation as the featured charity on The Great American Road Rally!!!

ASC is making appearances on the show all season long, but TONIGHT'S episode features ASC, so if you're a supporter of the children of America's fallen warriors, this is a must-watch episode!!

ASC Founder and Executive Director Daryl Mackin spent two weeks on the road this summer with GARR, spreading the love and joy of A Soldier's Child Foundation and connecting with hundreds of fellow patriots.

The friendships forged were powerful. The memories unforgettable.

And all of it can be seen in TONIGHT'S episode of The Great American Road Rally on the CW, 9pm EST, 8pm CST.
