Energy Source works closely with their clients to identify energy conservation opportunities from "broad stroke" identification through actual implementation of projects. Energy Source services also include obtaining all applicable incentives for our clients; this helps reduce simple paybacks and maximize Return on Investments. Hosted by Eversource MA , this municipal event series brought communities together to better understand what goes into retrofitting municipal buildings—from identifying opportunities and navigating available incentives, to developing projects that work for their unique needs.

Earlier this month, our team joined the City of Gloucester, Massachusetts to sit down one-on-one with local small business owners and talk about energy efficiency solutions built around their individual needs.

No two businesses operate the same way. Landlords, tenants, nonprofits, and other local organizations all have different buildings, priorities, and opportunities to save energy. That is why the chance to listen, ask questions, and have real conversations is so valuable.

The people behind Gloucester’s businesses know their spaces and care deeply about the community they serve. We loved hearing directly from them. 💚

A little look at what goes into a site walk with our team.

We’re checking the equipment, but we’re also looking at everything around it: access, timing, operating conditions, and what needs to keep running while work moves forward.

Those details help shape the project before anything gets installed.

That’s a big part of why being on site matters. The building tells you things the plan on paper cannot.

Last week, infrastructure strategy showed up block by block.

This week, the setting changes, but the principle does not. Continuity depends on systems working together before pressure builds.
