It is with distinct honor and pride that we are announcing, after 14 years from the founding of our MC, our last ORIGINAL Member is retiring from active service, although he assures us that we’ll still be seeing him hanging out with us often… and we’re counting on that.
Scott, aka “Road Rage,” told us just yesterday @ Church that he felt it was time for him to take a step back. The room went silent for a minute, you know? He’s the very last of the original set – a legacy. He has held nearly every officer position in our Club, and he has always meant the world to us. He was the one who showed us what that Patch really stood for – getting through the thick and thin, together. It wasn't just some fabric; it was a promise we kept to each other. Our whole club was built on being righteous, especially when others forgot what that even meant.
As the 2nd Prospect in this Club, I watched him rise to President – my President – and it was something else. I followed him without question. And not for nothing, but after more than three decades of rocking a Patch myself, he is one of the finest to ever hold that position, me included. I remember how he steered the Club through some seriously intense stuff, the kind of stuff that makes other Clubs fold. He taught us how to truly stand up for each other, no theatrics, just show up, no questions asked – exactly how it should be.
The miles we've ridden together are etched into us all, just like his name is and always will be as it is woven into the very fabric of our Patch. We know that it is his chair, whether empty or not, that will set the standard we'll all measure ourselves against. For it was his words, his actions, and his deeds that made this Club a real home for men who don’t f**k around. And that spirit will echo every time we fly our Patch and bring our bikes to life, remembering the man who taught us to ride hard and fly straight, no matter what tries to knock us off course.
So, we'll take it from here, our dear Friend and Brother. We know what a 1% heart looks like when it beats for its Brothers, and yours has always been our prime example.
Much Honor, Loyalty, Love, and Respect, Brother Rage… now and forever, with every mile we've got left in us… We Love You, Brother.
