Just ran up to Hoffman Carwash during my lunch - before I left I bought my exterior wash using the Troop 58 fundraising link and got email with my code just a few minutes later. Same cost as paying on-site and supported scouts at the same time!

If you got an orange hang tag last weekend that means a local scouting group will be out this morning to collect donations in your neighborhood! They get going soon - so please make sure any donations are outside and clearly visible! Thank you so much for supporting Scouting for Food!!!

Lizzy C. attended the Order of the Arrow National Youth Leadership Seminar last month and she brought some of the skills and leadership pointers she learned to tonight's Patrol Leader Council. Great job Lizzy!!

Last night was a historic night for Troop 58.
Both Vince P. and Ben C. passed their Eagle Scout Board of Reviews and became Troop 58's newest Eagles!

Please congratulate their awesome accomplishment when you see them.

This past weekend 11 scouts and 8 scouters ventured out to Floodwood Mountain Scout Reservation and canoed Floodwood, Little Square, Follensby Clear and Square Ponds, and up and down Fish Creek this weekend. Despite a little liquid moonlight on Friday, we had a great time and enjoyed island camping Saturday night. We ended the trip with a climb up Floodwood Mountain Sunday morning.

Thanks again to Scott Anson for the donation and to the American Legion Post 1040 Blanchard-Currey Post Delmar NY for continued support in letting us build a sweet new storage rack for our troop's canoes! Nice work by Gavin Z., Phil Z., Shawn N. and Adam N. - looks great!!!

Wonderful Fall Court of Honor celebrating all the accomplishments and fun from over the summer at Seabase, Yawgoog and Rotary. Thank you to the American Legion Post 1040 Blanchard-Currey Post Delmar NY for letting us use the hall and for the amazing support always!

Troop 58 continues to put the Outing in Scouting this summer!

Yesterday 8 scouts and 4 scouters got their Sea Base adventure underway!! Wishing them "Fair winds and following seas".

An amazing week of camp was had by all!!!
As one scouter put it - great memories and stronger friendships were the result of this truly inspiring experience.

And to top off all the fun, the Medicine Bow staff selected our troop as an example to follow and chose Troop 58 as Troop of the Week. We are so proud of this group of scouts and scouters.

18 Scouts and 7 Scouters are on their way to Yawgoog Scout Reservation for an incredible week of camp! Wondering what they will come up with for the Inventors week theme? Hmmmm...I guess "time" will tell! ;)
