You don’t have to play golf — or even be at the tournament — to get in on the fun!

Keep Slidell Beautiful’s Golf Ball Drop, sponsored by PhireLink, is happening October 16th at Pinewood Golf Club, immediately following the KSB Golf Tournament.

🎟️ GET YOUR BALLS:
1 ball — $20
3 balls — $50
8 balls — $100

💰 CASH PRIZE: $500!

At the end of the tournament, all purchased golf balls will be dropped on the chipping green. The ball closest to the hole — or in the hole — wins $500! In the event of a tie, the prize will be split.

You do NOT need to be present to win!

September is Love Our Waterways Month with Keep Louisiana Beautiful, and we’re taking the Fall Citywide Clean-Up to the bayou! 🛶💙

Join us Saturday, September 26 for our Bayou Clean-Up and help remove litter and debris from Slidell’s waterways.

🌊 Meet at 8:45 AM at the Heritage Park Boat Launch Pavilion
🧤 Clean-up from 9:00–11:00 AM
🛶 Bring your own boat, kayak, or paddleboard + life vest
👕 Every bayou clean-up volunteer will receive a Keep Louisiana Beautiful Love Our Waterways T-shirt!

Prefer to stay on dry land? Our traditional Roadway Litter Clean-Up is still happening too! Volunteers can choose the clean-up opportunity that works best for them.

Grab a friend, get on the water, and help us keep Slidell beautiful—from our streets to our bayous!

Have you heard that we will be accepting recycling on September 26th during our Fall Clean-Up event? We are partnering with CACRC to collect certain electronics (see the flyer for details), glass, small metals (that's right, twice in one month!), plastics #1 and #2, and soft plastics. YES! We will still hold our regularly scheduled second-Saturday glass and metal recycling on September 12th! We WILL NOT be accepting tires this year.

Join us for the 2026 Fall Citywide and Bayou Cleanup! We have several ways for you to get involved! Help beautify Slidell by removing litter from roadways, hop in your kayak and clean-up Bayou Bonfuca or beautify Pearl’s Garden with new plants.
