The primary mission of the Mimsey Foundation is to eliminate financial barriers for athletes.

Our foundation is inspired by the life and legacy of Cindi Grayson (Mimsey) who passionately encouraged, supported and assisted every athlete she encountered.

🔥 History Made for the Mimsey Foundation 🔥

We want to give a huge thank you to Rick Weems’ LivConfident Martial Arts for hosting the very first Mimsey Board Break-A-Thon — and what an incredible beginning it was.

Because of the passion, generosity, and determination of this amazing community, $13,359 was raised to support the mission of the Mimsey Foundation.

But the real story wasn’t just the number.

It was the students who pushed themselves to break one more board.
The families who rallied behind them.
The instructors who poured their hearts into every moment.
And a community that showed what happens when martial artists come together for something bigger than themselves.

Board after board fell… but what really broke through was the spirit of giving.

This event will forever be remembered as the first, and because of Rick Weems’ LivConfident Martial Arts, the foundation has an incredible starting point for what we know will become a powerful tradition.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for believing in the mission and helping us change lives.

Tomorrow is something special.

Our largest Mimsey Foundation Board Break-A-Thon ever is happening, and if you’ve never seen one before, it’s hard to explain what it feels like.

You’ll see little hands shaking before their first break.
You’ll see black belts pushing themselves to the limit.
You’ll hear parents cheering louder than they ever have before.

And in the middle of all that noise… something powerful happens.

A student who didn’t think they could do it — does it.
A board snaps.
And in that moment, something inside them changes.

Confidence replaces doubt.
Courage replaces fear.

That’s what tomorrow is really about.

Yes, we raise money.
Yes, it supports the mission of the Mimsey Foundation.

But what really happens tomorrow is something much bigger.

A community comes together.
Students discover strength they didn’t know they had.
And boards become symbols of the obstacles we all learn to break through.

Some students will break a few boards.
Some will break a mountain of them.

But every single one of them will leave knowing one thing:

They are stronger than they thought.

And that lesson will stay with them long after the boards are gone.

Thank you to Mrs. Brandi Dalton for the love poured into this beautiful set up!

Sr. Master Jude Grayson gave a free in-person private lesson today to Ms. “Forgetting Sara Marshall” for raising the most funds for the WolfPack ATA Martial Arts Board Break-A-Thon! This event alone raised $15,000 in one day for the Mimsey Foundation 💪💪💪💪

Today marks 4 years since Mimsey passed.

Not a day goes by that we don’t feel her presence, guiding our hearts and purpose.

This past weekend, in her honor, we held the largest fundraiser in the history of the Mimsey Foundation — raising over $16,000 to support young martial artists, dreamers, and fighters just like she always believed in.

Her legacy isn’t just alive — it’s thriving. In every board broken, in every scholarship granted, in every child who walks into class with confidence… Mimsey still lives on.

We are so grateful to every donor, volunteer, and supporter who continues to carry her light forward.

Thank you for helping us honor her memory in the most powerful way: through action, impact, and love.

Tonight Ms. Kd Inness and her school WolfPack ATA Martial Arts hosted a Board Break-A-Thon for the Mimsey foundation to help us “remove financial barriers” for ATA athletes around the world! 🌎

At tonight’s event, they raised $14,000!!!!!!!💜💜💜💜💜💜

None of this is possible without the powerful culture of WolfPack ATA and their community! Their Legacy teams showed outstanding leadership through board holding and auction breaks!

We had special guests Senior Master Carson Clews and, newly awarded 9th Degree Black Belt, Cheif Master Jay D. Kohl!

This fundraising is possible because of the vision and direction of the “Fundraising Advisor” for the Mimsey foundation, Senior Master Travis Dillow, and his incredible passion for our foundation and the ATA!

Thank you all for helping us change lives. We will get this money in the hands of ATA students who need financial assistance…so please encourage your athletes to apply!
